Agroforestry could account for 1/3 agriculture's potential contribution to righting carbon balance

"If proven agroforestry practices were used on the over 2 billion acres worldwide for which they’re suitable, in thirty years agroforestry could have a striking impact—accounting for per¬haps a third of agriculture’s overall potential contribution to righting the earth’s carbon balance."
