Just examine the distribution of revenues of GlaxoSmithKline, the world's largest manufacturer of AIDS medicines: 37.9% on marketing and administrative costs, 27.8% on profits, 20.4% on manufacturing, raw materials, and related production expenses, and 13.9% on research.
