People See Politicians as the Issue not the System:

"63% Say Politicians Playing Favorites is Worse than Special Interests' Campaign Contributions."

To go along with this overwhelming sentiment:
"Today, just 22% of Americans have a favorable view of Congress"

Despite all this incumbents still had a reelection rate 95% in the House and 81% in the Senate in 2014.
